The project inspired by the modern CryptoArt movements!

5,555 unique collectible deers with proof of ownership stored on the Polygon blockchain.

Meet the Deers

The Punkdeers are 64x64 pixel art images, generated algorithmically. Most are punky-looking ordinary deers, but there are a few rarer types mixed in: Kings, Zombies and even the odd Clowns. Every deer has their own profile page that shows their attributes as well as their ownership/for-sale status.

How do I get a deer?

Download and install MetaMask

Download and install a Chrome browser plugin called MetaMask. This will allow websites (that you authorize) access to your Ethereum account.

Buy some Matic

If you made a new account, buy some Matic. Make sure you are on the Polygon network. You can buy Matic from various sources, make sure it's the trustful one.

Start minting, bidding, buying and selling

Once you have the plugin installed, this website will recognize it and activate options that will allow you to mint deers directly in the interface.

Details and FAQ

Where are the images for the deers stored?

When originally released, the actual images of the deers were stored on the Google Photos servers, now we took the more professional approach and every deer art is offline until it's minted. After the specified date, every Punkdeer will become publicly available and stored on the blockchain forever. You can verify that the deers being managed by the Polygon contract are the True Official Genuine Punkdeers™ by calculating an SHA256 hash on the Punkdeer image and comparing it to the hash stored in the contract.

Are the deers an ERC-721 token?

Yes. The Punkdeers are the ERC-721 standard tokens. ERC-721 is a free, open standard that describes how to build non-fungible or unique tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. While most tokens are fungible (every token is the same as every other token), ERC-721 tokens are all unique.

Where does the market data on this site come from?

The prices, bids and sales you see on this site are loaded from the Punkdeers contract on the Polygon blockchain. You can load those data on any NFT marketplace or see it on current ones, the most popular one for Etherum and Polygon network NFTs are the OpenSea.

Do you charge any fees for transactions?

Yes. We charge 5% fees for Punkdeers transacted through the market plus the fees charged by Ethereum (gas). The contract source and more technical details are all open-source data available on the GitHub.
